Andy's 60 mile charity cycle ride for his 60th birthday.

Date: Sunday 19th September

Start: Market Cross, Beverley at 9am

I will be at Nero cafe from 8.15am, where you can enjoy FREE pre cycle-ride coffee.

Entry fee is £10 - as a donation to 'Guide Dogs for the Blind Association'

In addition to the coffee or tea, each rider will receive a piece of flapjack from "Jayne's kitchen"!

Route is 60 miles and heads north-west, including the villages of Huggate and Thixendale, before heading back via Millington, the climb at Nunburnholme and Market Weighton.

There are cafes and shops on the route should people need additional refreshments and we are recommending the World Peace Cafe at Kilnwick Percy Hall as the ideal stopping point, just beyond half way.

Here is a GPX of the route.   (Route description is available under the 'Information' link on the right.)

Meet up afterwards at Tiger Inn for drinks and food.
