Finally! 2022 sees the return of this classic local event and we'd love for you be part of keeping this historic running occasion on the calendar.

This year's event will take place on Wednesday 22nd June 2022 at 7pm and post pandemic restrictions 🤞🤞, we'll be returning to the classic hilly 10 mile route!

For those of you who don't yet know...

Dont be put off by the name!! Yes, it is a challenge, but a very rewarding one 🙂

The event is hosted by Caistor Running Club and is run in and around the lovely Lincolnshire Wolds. Originally held in 1982, this classic local event has been a fixture of the local running scene for 40 years. Starting and finishing in the village of Swallow, the route offers stunning views of the Lincolnshire countryside, with regular challenging hills along the way, and a total elevation change of around 700ft (215m) over the 10 mile route.

As this is a low key, low cost event, we ask you to bring your own water with you if you think you'll need it on the route, there will be water provided at the finish too. 

Race numbers will be available from 6:00pm on the evening of the race. 

Ample car parking is provided in the village near the start, please follow signs on the day.

Please note, there is a time limit of 2 hours to complete the event.
