About the Festival

The Abington Festival of Running is a yearly running event organised by Great Abington Primary School PTFA to raise funds for Great Abington Primary School.

We pride ourselves in creating a Festival that offers something for every runner. Whether you're looking for a PB on one of the fastest courses in the county or would like to challenge yourself to complete a run cheered on by a supportive crowd, the Abington Festival of Running is for you.

The 5k and 10k are offical UKA Road Races. Licence number: 2023-44967.

A 10k, 5k and 2k fun run

We are happy to announce we have adjusted the popular 10K course and added a new 5K course that is now in its 3rd year. All races finish in front of the iconic TWI plane in Granta Park.

They are both official UKA road race courses as measured by our official course measurer, Tim Cook.

Please refer to the documents in the Information section for full details of the Event. The race day rules can be found here.

Registered Charity Number: 1136090

2023 Festival

The 2022 Festival was a brilliant day with 100s of runners from across the County enjoying a fast course for those looking for PB and a supportive atmosphere for those challenging themselves to complete a 2k, 5k or 10k run.
