Information
- Ski and boot hire is included in the race fee (subject to availablility and on a first come first served basis.)
- Competitors must not have reached their 19th birthday on the race day
- Age categories: Infant - Junior - Middle - Intermediate - Senior
- Entry must be received by the Race Secretary no later than 15th November 2023. Entry is on a first come first served basis subject to limitations at the organising committees discretion should the race be oversubscribed.
- All competitors MUST wear a ski helmet. Hands, arms and legs must also be covered when skiing.
- All competitors and team captains MUST register at the race office at the ski club to collect their race bibs. Registration will open at 10.00am and close at 11.00am. Competitors not registered by 11.00am will not be guaranteed to race.
- Following registration, competitors may use the ski slope for open practice without extra charge
- Competition will commence at 12.00 noon (There will be an allocated period for course inspection prior to competition)
- Awards will be presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in all age categories (not team event). Additionally, there will be a special award in each age category (boy and girl) for the best placed Novice not in the top 3
- School teams to comprise of the best timed 3 racers from a Primary School, and the best timed 3 racers from a Secondary School. Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Primary Schools and 1st, 2nd and 3rd Secondary Schools
- Each competitor will have TWO runs on the same course with the best timed run to count.
- Cups and trophies are perpetual and must be returned prior to the 2024 competition.
- The Race Organisers reserve the right to alter any information listed here without prior notice and at all times the decision of the Race Organisers will be final
- Once accepted no money will be refunded for non-appearance
- Awards will only be presented to competitors who remain for the prize giving
- Late entries may be accepted up to 11am on race day at the discretion of the organisers on payment of £25 per competitor
