Beverley Urban Gardeners
"We are a voluntary community group of people who are passionate about our environment and wildlife. Our aim is to underplant in as many areas as we can, the areas that are being sprayed and left with ugly yellow stripes. We will be liaising with the council every step of the way and aim to make Beverley a town to be proud of with minimal spraying and even some natural wilding in places where possible and it is feasible. If you are interested in joining all you need is a passion for nature .some gardening gloves, secateurs, a trowel and a few free hours a week."
Beverley Repair Cafe
"Beverley Repair Café is for the benefit of the whole community. A team of volunteers will do their best to repair broken items, on a 'donate-as-you-can' basis, with the aim of reducing the amount sent to landfill and improving people's financial and mental wellbeing."
The Wombles of Beverley
"A Beverley and surrounding area based group of like minded individuals whose primary focus is to help make our area that much tidier whilst helping to protect/improve the environment at the same time. The Wombles, they have gone out in all weathers to collect litter, plant wildflowers, tidy wasteland, clean-up rivers and canals and a host of other community activities."
