Scarborough Athletic Club, the Club, operates on the basis of sportsmanship and fair treatment of members. Any individual who is held to have defamed or brought into disrepute the club or any of its members may be subject to disciplinary action. This may lead to the revocation of their membership in accordance with the processes outlined within the clubs constitution or their membership application declined.

I hereby declare that I am an amateur according to the definition of the UKA and that I am eligible to compete under UK Athletic Rules.

Personal data collected on this form will be stored electronically and will only be used for the purpose of administration as required by the club. It will only be disclosed to appropriate club officials and will never be given out to unrelated organisations without your permission.

When you become a member of or renew your membership with Scarborough Athletic Club you will automatically be registered as a member of England Athletics. We will provide England Athletics with your personal data which they will use to enable access to an online portal for you (called myAthletics). England Athletics will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your MyAthletics portal (which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings). I apply to become a member of Scarborough Athletic Club, and agree to abide by both the rules of UK Athletics and the Constitution and rules of Scarborough Athletic Club. In particular to wear club colours when representing the Club at races or events

For Junior Members (under 18 years of age) this submission must be done by the Guardian or Parent of the child; By completing this form, I agree to my son/daughter/child in my care taking part in the activities of the club.

I understand that I will be kept informed of these activities, for example timing and transport details.

I understand in the event of injury or illness all reasonable steps will be taken to contact me, and to deal with that injury/illness appropriately.

The applicant consents to:

the use and reproduction of thier name, photographs, images and videos in all media for the purpose of advertising and publicity. Such items shall remain the property of the Scarborough Athletic Club.
