FINISH - Riders must be back at Epic Coffee House by 2.30pm to hand in their scavenger hunt cards and receive their free finishers beverage. Prize giving will then take place at around 3pm.

How will the scavenger hunt work?

The Shropshire Scavenger will not follow a fixed route, and instead will be a ‘choose your own adventure’ style ride.

Riders will be provided with the locations of treasure to be hunted via what3words the day before the event, and can then plan their own routes between these points.

You can collect as many or as few treasures as you want, with a winner crowned for the biggest loot and other prizes to be found throughout.

This will allow riders to choose their own distance for the day.

At sign-on riders will be given a scavenger hunt card with instructions on what to collect at each point and on which to record their findings. These must be handed in at the finish to be checked.

Every rider must enter individually, but can ride solo, in a pair or as a team.

Where will the ride go?

The ride will start and finish at Epic Coffee House in the centre of Ludlow, and then head out into Bringewood and Mortimer Forest.

It will be a mixture of scrappy back roads, forestry trails, and bits of single track for those who choose to hunt for some of the further afield treasure.

The ride will be suitable for both gravel and MTBs.

What to Bring

As the ride is taking place in December, please remember to wear appropriate cold and wet weather clothing for the conditions and a set of lights for safety.

Riders will need to bring a writing implement with which to fill in their scavenger hunt card.

A bike suitable for riding off-road.
