Information
This is a TOTALLY FREE measured and supported half and full marathon taking place on the day of the cancelled replacement for the cancelled London Marathon
If you think minimum stress for you social run with whistles and bells attached, rather than an event then you'll get the vibe. There are no medals or t-shirts but we will take care of everything else for you so all you need to do is run and enjoy the company. This event is fully compliant with Covid regulations and when signing up please be aware certain restrictions will apply, details of which can be found in the Main information and will be part of the briefing emails you will receive prior to the event.
Starting and finishing in the heart of Colchester you will be able to run your chosen distance while being able to use aid stations along the course and a baggage area at the START/FINISH area. We want to make this a communal, fun event so expect a little razzmatazz as you run through the finish.

There will be a participant’s baggage area for the safe storage of belongings although valuables are left at their owners risk.
By agreeing to take part:
• I declare I will be 18 years or over on the day of the event
• I am fully aware of the actual and potential risks in participation in this event
• I declare that I will not compete in the race unless I am medically fit on the day of the race and that, in any case, I will compete at my own risk.
• To the extent permitted by law, I accept that the organisers and sponsors of the race, or any of their agents, will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, costs or expenses, which may arise in consequence of my participation of the event.
• Nothing in these terms of use shall exclude or limit the liability of the organisers or their agents for death or personal injury due to its negligence or for its fraud
