The race is on a mainly flat course the course measurement certificate says there is a rise of 8m over the course length.

The race start and finish are at the Scarborough SPA.

The 10K race is timed so that the majority of runners are able to run FOC with their children in the 1.6km or 2.5km fun runs once they have finished the 10K race.

The start will be in waves based on estimated completition time, please look for the time signs.  Runners with slower predicted times (85mins+) will be invited to start at the rear of the first wave.

07:30   Seafront roads closed

08:30   The SPA opens to competitors with bag drop available, t-shirt collect and any race numbers to be collected on the day.

09:40   Warm-up – TBD

09:45   The McCains Yorkshire Coast 10K road race commences

11:15   10K Prize giving at The SPA

11:30   2.5km Fun Run Commences

11:50   1.6km Family Fun Run commences

12:45    South Bay foreshore road re-opens

13:00    The SPA approach road reopens
