Information
Top of The Wolds 10K Challenge - Sunday 4th June 2023 at 10am.
Starting in the picturesque village of Warter, the route takes you on undulating roads down to the village of Nunburnholme. Turning left, you will now tackle the infamous Nunburnholme Hill. The PB bell awaits you at the top - victories come in many forms - ring that bell for what reason you have! Another left turn takes you to a short out and back section, before descending down over a kilometre of beautiful woodland trail. A right turn, heads you back towards Warter for the undulating return to the village to the finish line!
Check out the route here: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/1074121244
There will be one water station, at the top of the hill, where water will be available. In the interests of trying to be more environmentally friendly, if you'd like to bring your own cup, please do.
All finishers will receive a memento of the occasion and the top three male and female finishers will receive free entry into next year's race. The male and female age category winners will receive discounted race entry codes to enter next year.
No headphones will be allowed to be worn. Due to the nature of the course, runners must be able to hear marshal instructions and any farm traffic, animals etc that maybe on the course at any time. Due to the woodland section being full of wildlife - including deer - it is imperative that runners can hear fully at all times. Runners will be disqualified if found to be wearing headphones at any point.
Runners information will be emailed out before the race, with race day information including number collection.
