First time or experienced Park runner, everyone want to improve so join us for our 5km Track Series
A 5km benchmark or taster session followed up by 8 weeks of sessions working toward a friendly 5km “race” held at track by us on Tuesday 28th April or go in for the Ryde Harriers 5km track series event on Thursday 30th April
All our sessions are run by experienced coaches Simon and Darren and will help dial in your race pace and put you in the best place to go all in on race day.
Don’t worry if you’ve not been on a track since school or its your first time attempting 5km - we’ve got you
If you are experienced 5k’er and want to finally break that 25, 20, 16min barrier - we have lots of athletes that can group together and help get you over the line.
How

2–4 heats, seeded by predicted 5k time (or recent parkrun or vibes)

Each heat will be timed by our volunteers so you just need to run - we will put on a few pacers too to help the group hit times, shared effort for the win.
Example heat splits:
