Beverley AC's Viking Pest Control Walkington 10km Road Running Race, Friday 11 July 2025
Starting at 7:30pm at Little Weighton Road, Walkington. An undulating, picturesque, rural route, takes in a loop to Little Weighton and back to Walkington for a village playing fields finish!
Race HQ is located on Walkington Playing Fields, off Beech View, Walkington, Beverley.
Chip timing is provided by Sports Timing Solutions for the 10km.
10km entrants must be aged 15 years or older on the day.
There is an 90 minute time limit for completing the 10km.
1st - 5th male and female; 1st male and female U19, V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65; 1st place male and female V70, V75 +.
1st and 2nd placed male and female teams (3 runners to count, club vests must be worn). Team prizes may not be awarded on the day, to allow for the results to be verified.
Prizes are awarded based on chip times.
Entry is £13.50 for UKA Affiliated Club Members and £15.50 for all other entrants.
All finishers will receive a mememto of the event.
Race t-shirts can be purchased seperately. As a club we are looking to be sustainable and environmentally conscious. We are reducing our waste by only ordering the amount of t-shirts that are purchased at point of entry. The tshirts we order will be ethically sourced and environmentally friendly. The cut-off for all t-shirt orders or changes is 8 weeks before the event - 19th May. After this date, t-shirts will no longer be able to be purchased and changes to sizes will not be possible.

By entering this race you are declaring that you are medically fit to run. You accept that the organisers shall not be liable for any injury, illness or loss of property as a result of your taking part in this event. You are declaring that you have read our event risk assessment. As an athlete entering the event it is your responsibility to understand and follow the rules to which you sign up.
An entrant shall be deemed to have made him/her/their self, familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA anti-doping rules and to submit to the authority of UK anti-doping in the application and enforcement of the anti-doping rules. The UKA anti-doping rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of athletics, for 12 months from the date of race entry, whether or not the licence holder is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK.
All entrants must be 15 or older on race day.

Entry is non-refundable nor can it be deferred. Transfers are permitted up to the advertised cut off. The cut-off for all t-shirt orders or changes is 8 weeks before the event - 19th May. After this date, t-shirts will no longer be able to be purchased and changes to sizes will not be possible.
