Information
The race is on a mainly flat route, the course measurement certificate says there is a rise of 8m over its length.
The race start and finish are at the Scarborough SPA.
The 10K race is timed so that the majority of runners are able to run 'Free Of Charge' with their children in the 1.6km or 2.5km fun runs once they have finished the 10K race.
The 10K start will be in waves based on your estimated completition time. You will be emailed your allocated WAVE before race day. Runners with slower predicted times (85mins+) will be invited to start at the rear of the first wave.
The 5K race is open to all but aimed at the 11-15 age groups. Prizes will be awarded for U13 and U15 ages only. The course will follow the same route as the 10K but turning around near the skateboard park on the Headland.
New for 2024 is a wheelchair race starting along with the 10K and 5K respectively. Please note that these events are for those athletes with racing wheelchairs only.
Any assisted athletes please contact Race Director directly with your requirements.
