Entry Transfer & Editing Details
When the event organiser has made this facility available part of the email/invoice sent will contain the details you need in order to login and edit your details or transfer your entry.
If you have entered any of your details incorrectly you can now login to The Entry Point Website and amend your details. You can use this same facility to transfer your entry to another participant.
Here is an example displaying part of the details contained within the email sent.
You can edit your details up until the following date: Date Provided By Event
Main Event Page
The Edit Details Link is only visible if the facility has been made available.
You will see 2 items on the page. 1, A main section in the middle of the page with instructions. 2, The edit link on the right navigtion bar.
These will remain visible until the edit/transfer system has closed. In which you can no longer use the service.
Edit Details Login Page
Here you can login using the email address that you signed up with along with the unique reference number you where provided with.
Forgotten Reference Number
If you have forgotten your details you can use the forgotten reference number using the forgotten reference number link shown below. Simply enter your email address that you used when you signed up and we will resend you the details you need to login
Click Forgot Reference Number Link as shown below > Enter the email address you signed up with and click .Send Email
You will be re-sent the details that you need to login.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU CHECK YOUR SPAM/JUNK FOLDER. WE HAVE FOUND THAT THE FREE EMAIL ACCOUNTS HOTMAIL/GMAIL ETC SOMETIMES PUT OUR EMAILS IN THE SPAM/JUNK FOLDER.
There are 2 options for transferring entries and you are free to use whichever you are comfortable with.
Option 1 - Editing Details
This is the easiest and quickest way to transfer an entry to another runner. You just need to login and select edit details from the drop down list displayed.
Then just replace all of the details on the form with the person who is taking your entry.
You can also use this to make any changes to your own personal details.
Just make any changes needed and click .save changes
Option 2 - Transfer Entry
If you do not know the details of the person who you are passing the entry onto you can use the transfer facility. This will ask you to enter the email address of the person you are passing the entry on to. Once this process has been completed you no longer have the entry and it has been passed on. This process requires that the new participant logs in and completes the process.
Change the drop down list to Transfer to another person > Then enter the email address of the new participant > Click .Submit
Email Notification Sent
As soon as you click submit an email is sent to the new participant. It is essential that they login and complete the process.
Please note that no fees are passed as part of the transfer it is for you to negotiate how you get the fees for your entry you are transferring.
