Transferring Entries & Editing Details
The major part of our unique online entry system is allowing the entrants to edit their details. Should they not be able to take part they can even transfer their entry to another person completely FREE of charge.
When the event organiser has turned this facility on the participants will receive a unique reference number to use along with the email address that they used when they signed up. They can then visit the entry page and click the "Edit Details" button on the right hand side.
You will be prompted with a login form as shown below.
Should you forget your unique refence number you can use the "Forgotten Reference Number" service. This will allow you to enter your email address that you signed up with and we will re-send you the reference number needed.
Once you have logged in you can either edit your details or transfer your entry to another person.
If you are transferring your entry to another person you just need to enter the email address of the new participant and click submit. We will then send them the details they need in order to complete the process.
Re-Sending Transfer Details
When a user transfers their entry you are relying on the following things:
- They enter the correct email address
- The recipient may have not received the details (Generally the details have gone into spam/junk)
With this in mind we have developed our system to make it easy to find them in the participant list page.
We have created a secondary table that contains all of the entries that have been tranferred but not yet completed. When you have found the entry that you wish to re send the details simply click the orange "Send Transfer Email Button" this will trigger an email to be sent to the recipient . (If the recipient added an incorrect email address you can edit the email address and then re send)
