Formally known as the Dalton Dash, the Dalton Estate makes a stunning backdrop to this undulating 10K road race on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. The rural setting and the facilities of the private estate make this a great event whether it's your first time or you are a seasoned runner, you will have everything you need to have a great running experience.

We have an extensive range of prizes available:
• 1st to 3rd places overall for both men and women
• 1st places, both men and women, for V40, V50 & V60
Road's re-open at 10:30 so, for safety reasons, remaining runners on the course will be picked up by a sweeper vehicle after this time.
Presentation will be held at approximately 10.30 AM - please do stay and support this.

By entering this race you confirm that a. you are medically fit and able to take part in the race. b. you agree to abide by the rules laid down by UKA and the race organiser c. you acknowledge that the race director’s decision is final d. you agree to obey the instructions of marshals and other race officials e. if you are under 18 you have consent from a parent or guardian to take part in the race. Prizes may be made available for overall, 2nd and 3rd places and age group winners. Winning an overall prize renders you ineligible for age group prizes in your category. Considerable work goes into organising a running event. We incur costs for every entry to the event and these costs are often non-recoverable. These costs include fees to UKA, fees to our race entry provider, giveaways and prizes, venue and equipment hire, and general staffing costs. Administration and practical work also starts the moment you enter and continues up until, and after an event. We have a policy covering race entry, withdrawal and transfers: Refunds Refunds will not be issued after a Race Entry has been submitted. However, under certain circumstances, we may allow you to defer to the same event the following year. Withdrawals A withdrawal from a Humber Triathletes event can be made at any time prior to an event. Please let us know of your withdrawal in writing as soon as possible (e‐mail to races@humber-triathletes.co.uk). Transfer your entry to someone else: Please note that you cannot transfer your entry to anyone else without using the facilities provided in your confirmation email. We do not allow you to transfer your entry to anyone else via any other means for insurance reasons, medical reasons, legal and safety requirements, to avoid confusion at registration, and to ensure the whole event is safely and smoothly operated.
The wearing of headphones, or similar devices (bone conduction), (other than those medically prescribed, I.E hearing aids), are not permitted under any circumstances. Although the roads are closed and we have informed all of the local resisidants, we cannot garentee any vehicles, farm machinery, horses or livestock entering the course between the marshall points. Any runner caught breaking this rule will be disquailified from the event and will face a lifestime ban.
Any runner caught littering at the event site or on the course will be disquailified and will face a lifetime ban. Litter bins are provided on the event site, and every marshall point.
Please use the toilets provided at the event site. Although we are based in the countryside, the event site is a private resisidence of the Hotham family, please respect that.
