The Santa Run/Walk course is a fully-accessible route around the park which makes full use of the roads and paths available.. The Start/Finish line is opposite the aviary on the main road through the middle of the park and from there the participants will run or walk alongside Pickering Road, back into the park next to St Nicholas Church, past the Sensory Garden and the Children's Playground before looping around the perimeter of the lake.  Finally they will emerge back onto the park road next to the old rainbow shelter. 

The course has been measured at exactly 2.5km in length and any serious joggers are welcome to run a second or third lap if they wish.
