Information
The course
The Goole Riverbank Challenge 10K is a scenic, multi-terrain race following the banks of the River Ouse.
The route is predominantly along the riverbank, with a short section on paths before returning to the riverside. Expect undulating and varied terrain — this is the Riverbank Challenge for a reason.
With only two road crossings, the course is largely traffic-free, allowing you to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, open views and tranquility of running alongside the river.
This isn't designed as an all-out PB course. It's a race to experience and enjoy. Take on the terrain, enjoy the surroundings and embrace the challenge.
Every finisher gets:
- A high-quality finishers' medal
- Chip timing with live results and a personalised finishers' certificate
- Water and refreshments at the finish
- A unique, high-quality keepsake
- A technical T-shirt, if selected at entry, available as an additional supplement
More than just a 10K
Crossing the finish line isn't the end of the day — it's only the beginning.
We're turning the Riverbank Challenge into a full event, and we'd love runners to bring their partners, children, family and friends along to enjoy it with them.
After the 10K, the day continues at Goole Town Cricket Club, with a children's fun run and a full programme of entertainment and activities.
There'll be food vendors, children's activities, live singers and bands, entertainment and the cricket club bar open throughout the day.
So don't plan on finishing the race, jumping straight in the car and heading home.
Race in the morning. Stay for the afternoon. Bring the family. Meet your friends. Grab some food and a drink, and enjoy the entertainment.
The Goole Riverbank Challenge isn't simply a 10K.
It's a full day out — and everybody is welcome.
